|
This course is one of three that is especially designed for teacher certification in the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is assumed that the students who take this course have taken courses in education or already hold a degree and have state or provincial teacher certification; therefore, lessons dealing with basic issues in educational philosophy have been eliminated. (If you have not already studied the traditional and modern philosophies of education and the contemporary theories of education, you might want to take EDUC 210, a 3-hour course.) You will need that background as a foundation upon which to build. This course deals with the essentials for building an Adventist philosophy of education. |
